Dr. Jennifer Fry is the Executive Director of Fairchild Foundation and has been Fairchild’s veterinarian for many years. Dr. Fry graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years. Dr. Fry served Berks County as a small animal veterinarian for seven years prior to owning a franchise in Pottstown for 10 years. Now she is the the proud owner and Chief of Staff of THE VET ON MAIN in Birdsboro, which is also the home of Fairchild. Dr. Fry strongly advocates spay and neuter as well as preventative health care programs for pets. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Dr. Fry also has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, nutrition, alternative medicine, animal behavior and pet supplements.
Dr. Shannon Brockmeier also volunteers with Fairchild to perform spays and neuters every month. Dr. Brockmeier grew up in Shillington, PA and received her degree in veterinarian medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. “Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.” Dr. Brockmeier has been practicing at VCA Sinking Spring Animal Hospital since 2000. She enjoys crafts, especially scrap booking, and yard sales! She lives with her husband Dave as well as dogs, cats and guinea pigs.
Dr. Jessica Applebaum is a Graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and currently an Associate Veterinarian at Sycamore Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Carley Morgan works at Douglassville Veterinary Hospital and also graduated from University of Pennsylvania. She grew up in Endicott, a small town in upstate NY. She graduated in 2009 with a BA in Biology from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.
